Appointments & Cancellations
We make every effort to schedule appointments at your convenience and based on availability. Morning appointments are recommended for younger children when they are refreshed and more accepting of new experiences. This also allows our staff to spend more time with your child if needed.
Appointments are reserved exclusively for each patient. Therefore, we ask that you arrive on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you will be rescheduled. We understand that emergencies do occur. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify our office 24 hours prior to your scheduled time. A fee of $25.00 will be charged per child for missed appointments without 24 hours notice. As always, we will call a day or two prior to confirm your appointment. If your child misses more than two (2) scheduled appointments, we may request that you seek care at another dental office that can better accommodate your schedule. We wholeheartedly believe in maintaining excellent oral health and keeping appointments are necessary to meet our goals.
Staying with Your Child
New environments can be intimidating for some children. During our initial exam, our staff encourages parents to sit chair-side. As your child grows in our patient-centered environment, we encourage parents to allow them to demonstrate independence at subsequent visits. Be proud of your child's ability to get in the dental chair on their own and take responsibility for their personal hygiene. They will be proud, too! A parent's presence during restorative treatments is determined on a case-by-case basis. We typically find that children behave in a much calmer and less stressful manner when receiving restorative treatments without their parents at the dental chair. This allows us to do treatments more effectively and efficiently.
Insurance
We currently accept most insurance providers. As a courtesy to our patients, we file all claims on your behalf. However, the ultimate responsibility for payment of the claim belongs to you. We will assist you in estimating your portion of the cost of treatment, but we cannot guarantee what your insurance will or will not do with each claim.
Please keep the front staff informed of any insurance changes such as policy name, insurance company address, or change of employment status. Insurance providers we work with may change at any time and without notice. If you have any questions regarding your insurance provider, please contact our office.
Payment Methods
We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and debit cards which have the Visa or MasterCard emblem.
